《聆响　行歌》诗歌朗诵会

上周日参加《聆响　行歌》诗歌朗诵会的艺术家们到南康中文学校座谈，取得了相当好的效果，国内来的客人们普遍反映，南康中文学校座谈会的深度，是他们过去参加类似座谈会没有见到过的，谢谢参加座谈会的家长和老师。同时也要感谢这次所有参与接待国内客人的家庭。

这次《聆响　行歌》在耶鲁的演出以及第二天到南康中文学校的座谈，《侨报》和《星岛日报》均做了报道。

认字比赛年段决赛

本周日和下周日，３－７年级的认字比赛的年段决赛将在C008举行，下面是具体的时间安排：

十月二十九日1:30-2:15 三年级，3:30-4:15 四年级，4:25-5:10 五年级。

十一月五日3:30-4:15 六年级，4:25-5:10 七年级。

本周日AMC课程临时改道B111。

Listening To Poetry - Echoes of Civilization

The performance of "Listening to Poetry - Echoes of Civilization" in Woolsey Hall last Saturday was a big success. The artists from China came to SCCS to meet with our members. The feedback from the artists are very positive. The in-depth discussion with our members gave them big impression. Thanks to these members who attended the discussion session. We also want to give our thanks to all the families who hosted the guests from China.

Two newspapers, "Qiaobao Daily" and "Singdao Daily" reported the performance in Woolsey Hall and the visit of the artists to SCCS. You can find a snapshot of the newspaper attached.

The finals of Spelling Bee competition

The finals of Spelling Bee competition within each grade (from 3rd to 7th) will be held the coming two sundays in Room C008. The following is the schedule:

Oct 29: 1:30-2:15: 3rd Graders; 3:30-4:15: 4th Graders; 4:25-5:10: 5th Graders

Nov 5: 3:30-4:15: 6th Graders; 4:25-5:10: 7th Graders

The AMC in C008 will be moved to B111 this Sunday.
