Description: This course is designed to introduce non-heritage learners to the basic skills of Mandarin Chinese. There is a focus on Mandarin basic pinyin, tones and sound for pronunciation, as well as useful daily conversation dialogues. Students are exposed to the traditions, culture and current affairs of China.
