School closes this Sunday We just got an urgent notice from our host school, SCSU, that the school will close this coming Sunday due to the weather prediction. Although it is usually to decide by the Administration team of our school before 10:00am Sunday since the weather might change, it is a special case this time. SCSU has two concerns: the parking lot may not be ready for our school that Sunday if the weather is as predicted, and the slippery road and hall way may create hazard to our students. So please make sure that there is no Chinese School this Sunday. We are sorry for this unpredictable situation. Since the closing of the school, the Board meeting will be re- scheduled to one evening next week up to the agreement of major board members. We have several important issues and we cannot wait for the last day of the school. For those members who indicated you are interested in sitting in our board meeting, you will be contacted after our schedule is set. For last day of the school (we hope the weather will permit), we will distribute the member directory to each classroom. For parents with more than one child, your child in the highest level will get the directory. We labeled each copy with your child's name and each family should only get one copy if you indicate you want to share the address with others. If you find you get more than one copy, please let me know. If you believe you should get one and did not, please also let me know so we can check our database.
