各位南康中文学校的家长：

美国华人历史课是由耶鲁大学法学院的两位同学专门设计、开设的一门课程，在南康中文学校已经开过三期，每期１２个学时，课程采取大学授课的方法，教授收集资料、分析整理的能力，同时提高写作的能力，中间一起到纽约参观华人博物馆一次，期末做一次结业演讲，选过这门课的同学都认为收获很大。现在中文学校继续在春季学期开设这门课，适合８年级以上尤其是高中同学选读，时间是2:25-3:10，费用$90。打算选修的同学，请ｅｍａｉｌ to principal@ynhchineseschool.org。同时，这门课也非常欢迎已经结束大学申请正在等候发榜的同学选读，对他们顺利步入大学课堂有很好的准备功能，请不要错过。

Dear SCCS members,

Chinese in America - Discussion Panel is a special class designed by two Yale Law School students. SCCS has successfully offered the course for 3 terms. Each term needs 12 hours. The course uses the teaching method in colleges. It focuses on developing the skills of collecting information, summarizing materials, writing out and presenting. We also offer one trip to Museum of China Americans at NYC. In the end of the term, students will present their work. Students who took the course found it very useful. Now we are going to offer the class again in the Spring semester from 2:25 to 3:10. The cost for the class is $90. It is suitable for 8th grades and up. Especially it is perfect for these students who finished their college application and are waiting for admission results.
