Activities to celebrate the Chinese New Year

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, we plan to have the following activities: 1. CCTV new year eve show: we will play the tape of the show in the afternoon of Jan 25. 1:30pm, room A120. 2. Feb 8, 2009: celebration program starts from 12:00pm at Hill Regional Career High School, 140 Legion Ave. New Haven, CT 06519, including book fair, chinese lunch, culture booths, show, etc. More detail, please see the board minutes. Further communications will be followed. 3. Feb, 2009: art exhibition at Woodbridge Library. Submit your artwork by Jan 18, 2009. More communications will be followed. 4. In Woolsey Hall, Yale University: Concert on Jan 24 and New Year Show on Feb 1 The School has worked a good deal for the students and families for both shows. The Chinese Culture Night 2009 on February 1st, Sunday, 2009, sponsored by ACSSY Ү³ѧᣩ. A. All students and parents will have free admissions to the photo exhibition on the: 1978-2008: 30 years of US-sino diplomacy. (posters brought from China) B. All Chinese School students will have free admissions to the Chinese New year Show at Woolsey Hall on Sunday evening 7-9:30pm. C. Parents will still purchase tickets, but at a deeper discount: $25 for VIP section ticket/$12 for Section A ticket/$10 for Section B ticket In addition: China Qing Dao Symphony Orchestraൺţ Conductor Yongyan Hu Piano Maestro: Yin Chengzong ٴʦ : ڣ Woolsey Hall, Yale University/7:30pm, January 24, 2009 All Chinese School children age 10 and under will have children tickets of $5, a significant discount of the regular tickets (general admission $20/students $15) There will be ticket sales in Chinese School this Sunday.
